Recognized as part of the cross-program team that created a standardized national Recreation Opportunity Spectrum (ROS) layer for the Forest Service. Glenn helped develop two custom Python toolboxes and a workflow that processes roads, trails, terrain, and other data across CONUS, Alaska, and Puerto Rico, producing a national dataset that now supports other analyses, including timber operability and affected environments. (The 2025 awards were postponed and presented in October 2026.)

Presented to the Climate Risk Viewer (CRV) team by Secretary Vilsack, recognizing the CRV’s impact on climate-informed decision-making across national forests and grasslands. Glenn served as the CRV’s lead developer.

Recognized for the Climate Risk Viewer, highlighted by the Chief as an outstanding project in 2023.

For providing critical technical expertise in developing the gap analysis and decision support tool in response to Secretary’s Memo 1077-004: Climate Resilience and Carbon Stewardship of America’s Forests and Grasslands. Upon review, the Deputy Under Secretary called the tools “amazing” and “transformational.”

Selected as a 2025 Honored Listee by Marquis Who’s Who in recognition of his professional accomplishments.
